PROPOSED SPEED LIMIT ORDERS 2018

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(ATTLEBOROUGH, LONDON ROAD) PROPOSED SPEED LIMIT ORDERS 2018

 

The Norfolk County Council propose to make two Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which are set out below.

 

The Norfolk County Council (Attleborough, Hillsend Lane, London Road)

(30 M.P.H. Speed Limit) Amendment Order 2018                                         .

 

The effect of this Order would be to prohibit any vehicle from exceeding 30 miles per hour along –

 

(i)         the C572 London Road from a point 47 metres south of its junction with the C137 West Carr Road to a point 109 metres south of its junction with the U33124 New Road; and

 

(ii)        the U33147 Hillsend Lane from its junction with the C572 London Road for its entire length.

 

and The Norfolk County (Attleborough, Various Roads) (30 m.p.h. Speed Limit) Order 2013 would be amended by the addition of those lengths of roads.

 

The Norfolk County Council (Attleborough, Hillsend Lane, London Road)

(40 M.P.H. Speed Limit) Amendment Order 2018                                        .

 

The effect of this Order would be to prohibit any vehicle exceeding 60 miles per hour along the C572 London Road from a point 109 metres south of its junction with the U33124 New Road for a distance of 181 metres.

 

The Norfolk County Council (Attleborough, Various Roads)(40 m.p.h. Speed Limit) Order 2013 would be amended to delete the references to U33147 Hillsend Lane and the C572 London Road.

 

A copy of the Orders and plan may be inspected at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, and at the offices of Breckland District Council, Elizabeth House, Walpole Loke, Dereham, during normal office hours.
