Market Town Drainage: Attleborough, Ollands Road – Drainage works

Works are due to start on Monday 8 January 2018 for approximately 1 week on Ollands Road, Attleborough. Our contractors will be installing a new drainage gully, a number of aquacells and associated pipework.

The works will start 60m south of the junction of Clover Road. The aquacells will be located in the grassed verge area on the east side of the highway verge. The grassed area will be re-seeded once the work is complete. Traffic will be controlled by give and take for the duration of the scheme.

This improvement is to help alleviate the flooding issues experienced in the area and is funded through the National Productivity Investment Fund for Market Town Drainage works.

We will do our best to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum and your co-operation would therefore be greatly appreciated as works progress.

The County Council thanks people for their patience while this drainage improvement work is carried out.

The work which will cost £10,000.00 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
